Starfish Diving Center

The Starfish Diving Center is situated since 1996 in Vrsar at the Autocamp Porto Sole directly by the sea and is only a 10 minutes walk away from the city center. Our daily activities include boat trips to the surrounding wrecks and reefs as well as shore diving in the Lim Fjord and on the house reef in front of the dive center. As a PADI Gold Palm Resort we offer divers education for beginners and advancers according to the standards of PADI.

Urban-E

The Action brings together three municipalities (Ljubljana, Zagreb and Bratislava) with the companies most experienced in EV charging infrastructure in Cohesion countries, with railway companies, as well as with innovative B2C and B2B transport service operators, to form a new strategic partnership for green urban transport. The Action will jointly evaluate in a real-life trial the potential of urban e-mobility to meet the objectives of urban policies and National Plans, towards the achievement of larger rollouts in future.

Ballet Dancers Association

Ballet Dancers Association promotes the development of ballet art in Slovenia with the aim of creating an environment that provides ballet dancers with the opportunity to keep in touch with ballet culture after completing their education.

Izzivi prihodnosti (eng. Future Challenges) is a platform developed by Ljubljana, Slovenia based think-tank Institute for Strategic Solutions. The objective of the projectm is creating a platform for sharing experiences and good practices between the business, academic and social sphere. By combining different views, the project aims to become a melting points of ideas in order to facilitate the overcoming of challenges in international markets.

Slovenian Gas

The Petišovci field is located in Mura Depression. It that has been producing hydrocarbons since the early 1940s and more than 160 wells have been drilled here to date. In 2011 two new wells have been hydraulically stimulated. The sale of gas should began in 2017.

Annual Review 2016

Hospices of Hope’s mission is to improve the quality of life for patients in South East Europe who are su ering from a terminal or life-limiting illness. We ful l our mission by working with our partner organisations in Romania, Serbia and Moldova (which together make up the Hospices of Hope Network) and supporting the training of health care professionals throughout Central and Eastern Europe. All care is provided free of charge to patients and their families. We also work with national authorities to increase the provision and funding of care in the region.

Ljubhospic

Ljubhospic continues the work of the only hospice inpatient unit in Slovenia, Hiša hospica, Hiša hospica was until 2015 a programme of Slovene Hospice Society, a NGO pioneering hospice palliative care in Slovenia. Ljubhospic is since 2015 under patronage of Pharmacy of Ljubljana (Lekarna Ljubljana) and remains to offer free hospice palliative care 24/7. It's interdisciplinary team meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of terminally ill and their families and friends.

Media Landscapes in Transition

Although the restructuring of media landscapes in post-communist countries begun nearly two decades ago, it is in many cases still a lively, ongoing process that has unjustifiably received too little scholarly attention during recent years. The conference No end of Transition? Understanding Changes in Media Landscapes and Public Rhetoric of Post-communist Era held in Ljubljana in March 2008 was organised by the Slovene Communication Science Association with the aim to review the changes in mass communication and public rhetoric brought about by transition from communist states to capitalism and democracy.
